Hello everyone!
I trust you’ve had a wonderful summer! As I gaze upon the vast array of books and delve into extensive research on curriculum, it’s clear that our summer respite is drawing to a close. It’s time for this mom to return to her other job! The summer has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but we embrace both the joys and challenges. There’s a unique beauty in both sunshine and rain. As many of you are aware, my son was diagnosed with a chronic illness this summer, yet we’ve also created joyful memories. Our family ventured to Six Flags for the first time, explored the Bodies Exhibit, made new homeschooling friends (which I found I needed more than the children), and enjoyed our backyard water slide. The kids had sleepovers with their cousins and cherished a special visit from their Aunt Patricia. Despite the fun, we stayed intellectually active with workbook sessions and frequent library visits. After all, summer is for creating lasting memories, which we certainly did!
I’ve chosen to showcase our summer through photographs, which I hope you’ll find delightful. An exciting year awaits us as we rejoin the Georgia Cyber Academy (K12) community, complemented by my unique approach to homeschooling. It’s hard to believe my eldest son is approaching his final year of elementary school—yes, we’re nearly at the middle school milestone! Continue to follow our adventure!
Please share your favorite summer memory, and I’d be thrilled to see your photos! 🙂
