This common and well-intentioned question is one I often encounter: “Why not just send them to school?” First and foremost, they are in school, but I grasp the underlying inquiry. They’re essentially asking why I don’t send them to a conventional school. For my fellow homeschooling moms, you’re familiar with the overwhelming urge to shake your fist and yell, but my aim is to enlighten and inform others about homeschooling. I’ve repeatedly stated that I’m not against public school; choosing homeschooling was a divine decision. I cherish homeschooling and its advantages. Although my enthusiasm may sometimes seem like a disfavor towards public education, that’s not the case. I advocate for school choice, and public school is one of those options! As my eldest son nears middle school, many might think he’d benefit more from public schooling. Thus, I’ve decided to address this question posed in my blog title.
