Toddler Learning! “Letter Learning Trays”

Needed for this activity:

1 Cookie Sheet 

Assorted magnetic letters

Letter themed worksheets (optional)

*Be sure to observe toddlers with this activity due to small parts*

You can get as creative as you want with this activity, but I kept it pretty simple. I introduced the names of the letters to my son, placed them on the cookie sheet, had him repeat the letters after me as I pointed to the letter, and then I pretty much let him go free to place them onto the cookie sheet. He quickly figured out to turn the letters over to the side with the magnetic to make them stick onto the cookie sheet, so there
was some additional learning as well. 

As they progress, you can add some worksheets to your cookie sheet so that they can match letters, words, or even practice spelling words. Also, you can buy many sets of magnetic letters and have your kids sort them by letters or colors.

This activity costs about $3-$5 to create!
